Treasure Hunt:

Note from Dr. Ladores: This is VERY cute! You have a very good introduction.Looking through your work, it seems you used one web page in particular. Your work is better off as a Scavenger Hunt than a Treasure Hunt. In a Scavenger Hunt, students go to one page or site and look for answers to 10 questions. In a Treasure Hunt, you really want to have 10 different sites. The Random House site seems fun. However, it takes time to load and does not take your students directly to the answer. I would add this as additional resource instead of being a part of the Treasure Hunt itself.

Please reconsider your big question as well. The big question on Dr. Seuss's impact on children's literature is more appropriate with college students than with third graders. What would you like the third graders to take away from this?

This is a promising start - just a few more changes.

I see you're still working on your worksheet and lesson plan for this one - but your slide show is right on target! :-)
